1. Open https://www.ecfmgepic.org/
2. Go to Physicians tab —> Select Getting Started.
3. Read the instructions carefully and select establish an account (https://epic.ecfmgepic.org/login).
4. Press continue and go to Biographics tab —> Input your personal information.
5. Press continue and go to Medical School tab —> Input your Medical School Information.
6. Press continue and go to Medical Licensure/Registration tab —> Add the Council to which you are registered. Then Add General Medical Council as the authority to which you are applying.
7. Press continue and go to Photo/Passport tab —> Upload your recent colour passport size photo and your passport in JPEG format with maximum size of 2MB.
8. Continue next to Summary tab —> Recheck and edit if any errors.
9. Continue to the Payment tab —> Pay using international transaction enabled debit/credit card. (You will receive a confirmation email)
10. After 3 days you will receive a temporary username and password —> Login to your account, change the username and password and answer the 5 security questions.
11. You will receive another email with EPIC Identification Number. You will now have to get it certified by NotaryCam.
12. You can find the EIF form by logging into your EPIC account under My Identity Documents tab.
13. NotaryCam: https://www.notarycam.com/ecfmg/ Login using your EPIC identification number and request them to verify your EIF form.
14. You will get an email from the notary public officers from NotaryCam that they are verifying your EIF Id and another email to book an appointment with them now or sometime later.
15. They will have a video chat asking you hold up your passport to the camera to verify and complete by signing a digital signature.
16. Go back to EPIC and Upload your credentials - FINAL YEAR DIPLOMA (Degree Certificate) only. (Make the payment)
17. Some colleges have an online portal where they receive the documents while others need to be couriered (with tracking/without tracking)
18. Since my college had an online portal, they sent the documents to my college email address. My college took a fee to verify the documents, attach my transcript photocopy and send it back to ECFMG.
19. After a week you shall receive an email from ECFMG saying the process is completed.
20. You can choose later when you want to send a report to GMC.
